I like to play omaha because it gives me practice for playing horse, that way I have a idea of what I'm doing.
I like Omaha im not that good at it but im still learning ....For me
love omaha getting better at it every day kinda use it to take my mind off of hold em when i need to just let my game get back to where it should be...
omaha is my favorite game. my dream is to one day play in the omaha world series of poker.
omaha for my no good.sory :-/
sorry i can not seem to get ahold of this game lol
you have to adjust to the cards but its fun and remember its more cards !
why does ohmaha attract so many fish?
My favorite game to play is hi/lo
Omaha 8 is my main ring game. Best thing to remember about Omaha (both types) is to look at your hand and the board and figure out what is the best you can draw to. Reality is that the nuts on the flop usually ends up being 2nd or 3rd best on the turn. And be careful to check for counterfit protection for your lows and str8's.
I also tend to play high hands very hard. Think of it this way - there will always be a high hand, but there are usually 2-3 fish who will chase a runner runner low (only to split it 3 ways if they hit, giving you half the pot and them 1/6th each).
Omaha is a great game for a change. Playing it is to me totally different from holdem though. It is not one of my strong games. I've been busted so many times with good hands. It takes more consentrating for me.
I like H/L, not regular Omaha. If you know of Freerolls, PM me please. Also, like Holdem.
I never liked Omaha until recently. I always seemed to suck at it, so I started do research to learn more about the game. I started playing more of it and am really enjoying it. I like hi/lo the best, but also enjoy just high.
So many people that play this game really don't understand the strategy behind it and end up playing crap hands and chasing. I used to be one of them because I didn't know any better.
I now play strong starting hands, the hands that have both the hi and low draw. After all, you want to be able to win the whole pot. So many people play it like hold'em and you just can't win that way.
