In just a touch over a month the November Nine will reconvene at the Rio in Las Vegas and complete the 2009 World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event! As for me, my money is on Phil Ivey to take the win. Even though he is somewhat short stacked compared to the other 8 players, if there is one person at that table capable of amassing a chip stack and taking it all down for the bracelet and the $8.5 million first place prize it is Phil Ivey.

Arguably the world’s best poker player, his table skills, mental preparedness and experience should rocket him past the small field that stands between him and his 3rd WSOP bracelet of 2009 and 8th bracelet overall. As a matter of fact, there is a poll on the official WSOP website that shows over 79% of visitors favor Phil taking it all.

A win would also give him a nice boost his standings in the WSOP Player of the Year standings where he is currently ranked 4th. We wish him the very best in the hunt for bracelet #8 and his first no limit Hold ‘em bracelet.

5% of Ivey

You need to be winning tickets to the 5% of Ivey drawing that will take place on Friday, November 6th at 10:00 ET. If your name is picked, you will be entered into a nine-person Sit &Go where you will compete for a share of a prize pool equal to 5% of Phil Ivey’s Main Event winnings. You win tickets for the drawing by playing in real-money games from October 8th through November 5th using the following criteria:

• Play in Ring Games: Get five tickets for each Full Tilt Point earned in a winning hand during ring-game play.
• Tournaments or Sit & Go’s with at least 30 players: You get 20 tickets for each Full Tilt Point earned in a tournament with at least 30 players when you finish in the money. Also, if you finish in the money and reach the final table of a tournament or Sit & Go with 30 players or more you will get a bonus of 50 tickets.
• Tournaments or Sit & Go’s with fewer than 30 players: You will receive five tickets for each Full Tilt Point you earn in a tournament or Sit & Go with less than 30 players if you finish in the money.
• Every ticket that you earn will be entered into the 5% of Ivey Main Event Drawing. All the tickets you earn over the promotion will also be entered into the 1% of Ivey $50K Freeroll drawing and the Daily Cash Draw on the day they are earned.

The 5% of Ivey Main Event sit n go will play out on Saturday, November 7th at 14:00 ET. It is a nine-player Sit & Go and will award prize money equal to 5% of Ivey’s Main Event winnings, the winner earns 3% and second and third places each receiving 1%. Prize money will be paid directly into your account within two business days of the completion of the Main Event.

1% of Ivey

Just like the 5% of Ivey promotion, you will earn tickets for a chance to play in the 1% of Ivey $50K Freeroll!

• Tickets are earned using the same structure as the 5% of Ivey
• Every ticket that you earn is entered into the 1% of Ivey $50K Freeroll. All tickets earned over the entire promotion will also be entered into the 5% of Ivey Main Event drawing and the Daily Cash Draw for the day they are earned.

The 1% of Ivey $50K Freeroll will run on Saturday, November 7th at 14:00 ET. If you win a seat, you will be notified by email. The additional 1% of Ivey prize money for the winner of the freeroll will be paid directly into their account within two business days after the completion of the 2009 WSOP Main Event.

Daily Cash Draws

Every day from now until November 5th, Full Tilt will hold drawings to award over 600 cash prizes every day! You earn your entries in the draw the same as you do for the 1% and 5% promotion.
